About Donate Yoga & The Mark Of Wellness

A Yoga Alliance Certified RYT 500 and YACEP, Mark is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, International MBA, and Vegan Chef. His passion for yoga was planted in 2008, sprouted while living in Oakland in 2014, and then blossomed in 2016 when he moved to Maui and later attended a life-changing 200-hour yoga teacher training in Kauai, Hawaii.

Mark brings that Maui spirit of Aloha to his classes through a peaceful and calming presence, combined with a fun and playful attitude. He believes in the power of community, loves traveling the world, and hopes to inspire others to organically grow their own food and protect clean water!

Mark's dedication to providing his students with the most well-rounded Yoga Teacher Training experience has led him to seek out the best Yoga Teachers possible.

For the past three years, Mark has trained with Yogis/Yoginis who have directly studied with some of the greatest Yogis of the past 100 years, including Pattabhi Jois, Iyengar, Sri Swami Satchidananda, Sri Dharma Mittra, and Swami Vishnudevananda.

The knowledge he has gained from these many different lineages has allowed him to create a fusion that takes the best aspects from each path and combines them in a unique way that makes it easily accessible and digestible for his students.

The result is a practice that is heart-centered, energizing, focused on alignment, and most importantly, attaining the goal of Samadhi!

In addition to yoga, Mark has an International MBA, served for three years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Peru, and was a cheerleader at USC. Mark is currently completing courses that will certify him as a Health Coach and a Talking Hearts Counselor.

Furthermore, Mark has certifications in Chair Yoga and Reiki. His unique qualifications and experiences allow him to truly unite mind, body, and soul for himself, and to lovingly empower his students.

Mark's greatest attributes are his ability to connect with people from all walks of life, share compassion and empathy, and knowing when to be goofy and not take life too seriously.
